Chartered physiotherapist. Ex-professional footballer. MSc Sports & Exercise Medicine. The reason you're not getting fobbed off with three sets of bridges and a foam roller.
I played professional football. I got injured. I sat in too many treatment rooms and watched too many physios go through the motions — generic protocols, wishy-washy timelines, and a polite suggestion to "rest it for a few weeks."
So I trained. MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine. Chartered with the CSP. Registered with the HCPC. Time in elite-sport environments where the cost of getting it wrong is somebody's career.
Now I run a private clinic in Caversham. Limited roster on purpose — I'd rather see thirty patients properly than three hundred badly. If you've been told to "rest" and "see how it feels", you're in the wrong place.
